$100K Of Auction Bargains Up For Grabs At Honour Awards

Want to get luxury holidays, art, jewellery, and VIP experiences at bargain prices?  Guests at this year’s Honour Awards will be able to get this and more as part of the event’s popular charity auction.

Now in their 11th year, the Honour Awards recognise outstanding service and achievements within NSW’s LGBTI community. The awards are also a gala fundraising event for LGBTI charities Aurora and, NSW’s leading HIV prevention, HIV support and LGBTI health organisation.

A diverse mix of 28 finalists, a raft of celebrities and community leaders, and 350 guests will be joining host Matthew Mitcham, singer Alfie Arcuri as they pack the glamourous Ivy Ballroom in Sydney on Wednesday 27 September for an inspirational and unifying awards ceremony and fabulously fun cocktail party.

A big part of the evening is the amazing silent auction, which this year features close to $100,000 worth of products, services and unique experiences.

Standout items include an exclusive meet-and-greet with LGBTI icon and Star Trek legend, George Takei, during his upcoming Australian tour in November, a private movie screening from NBC Universal for up to 35 people and 5-course degustation dinner with your own Michelin chef and waiter for 10 friends. There are also a range of amazing travel packages including a Tuscan holiday, a Bali getaway and a villa in Port Vanuatu.

For lovers of the arts and entertainment, there are a range of A Reserve tickets up for grabs including Opera Australia, My Fair Lady, The Wizard of Oz, The Book of Mormon and Sydney Theatre Company. If it’s too long between seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race for you, then you can bid on an exclusive Drag Race fan pack curtesy of In The Dark Events. Mega fans will receive a double pass to four upcoming tours featuring stars from the show including The Sickening Ball starring Sharon Needles, Alaska Thunderfuck (4 Nov), Sasha Velour and Trinity Taylor (25-30 Nov), The Secret is Out: Alyssa Edwards (10 Feb), as well as William, AJA and TS Madison Live (2 Mar).
