For over 35 years, ACON has led the way to responding to health issues affecting LGBTQ people and people living with HIV. As an organisation that was born out of crisis, we know what it takes to ensure our communities are healthy, safe, supported and connected. Today, in the face of another pandemic, we are continuing to provide support and assistance to vulnerable members of our communities. Help us continue our work by making a tax deductible donation. Give as much or as little as you like – every little bit counts. Big or small - any support is gratefully accepted, and all donations over $2 are tax deductible.

As a regular donor, you are making an ongoing impact

Whether it's $5 or $500 a month, a regular donation to ACON goes a long way in supporting our work. 

Many of the programs and services we provide – such as our counselling services, our Meal Service and our Trans Health Equity Project – all help to improve the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ people and their families, but much of this work is not financially supported by government and rely on donations.

Regular donations help ensure the security of these vital programs and service that support our communities' health and wellbeing.  

How your donation helps

Your donation of just $25 a month over 12 months will help us care for our community in lots of ways. Here are just a few:

• Help 1 financially disadvantaged LGBTQ person receive 12 sessions with an ACON counsellor
• Help 2 people seriously affected by HIV receive practical assistance from volunteers in their homes to maintain independent living and quality of life
• Help us provide vital support and resources to transgender and gender diverse people, such as TransHub
• Help us provide meals to vulnerable members of our communities through our Meal Service

You can choose to give more or less, depending on your circumstances. Any support you can provide will be gratefully accepted, and all donations over $2 are tax deductible.
