CARE COORDINATION AND COUNSELLING ROLES, HUNTER REGION
ACON Hunter is looking for committed and inspiring social workers, psychologists or occupational therapists to join our client services team in Newcastle.
A rare opportunity has arisen for one or more allied health professionals to join our Client Services Team in Newcastle to deliver care coordination and/or counselling services, referrals and advocacy. Full time or part time appointments will be considered and there is some flexibility to negotiate the specific deliverables with the right applicants.

LATEST NATIONAL DATA SHOWS LOWEST RATE OF HIV DIAGNOSES IN 18 YEARS
The latest national data from the Kirby Institute showed that Australia continues to lead the world in HIV prevention. In 2018 there were 835 HIV diagnoses across the country, a decline of 23% over five years. It is the lowest number of HIV diagnoses since 2001.

SUPPORT FOR MEN NEWLY DIAGNOSED WITH HIV
Genesis is a weekend workshop for gay men (trans inclusive) who have been diagnosed with HIV within the last two years. It’s a peer-based workshop and is run by other gay men with HIV who can relate to the experience of a new diagnosis. There's a weekend workshop running 23 - 25 August, starting the Friday night.

We'll be working a bit differently for around 6 weeks.
