Living with HIV and applying for an Australian permanent visa? Want to learn more about the process?

In partnership with Positive Life NSW, ACON invites you to a conversation focusing on mental health and wellbeing while navigating migration as a person living with HIV. 

In this forum, we will reflect on the common challenges associated with the process of applying for an Australian via.  We will discuss strategies to deal with visa challenges and hear advice on how to build a strong application. We will be joined by an immigration lawyer, a social worker and fellow community members with lived experience of HIV and Australian migration. 

This event will be held in-person at ACON’s Surry Hills office, 414 Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills at 6:30PM on Monday May 29th, 2023.
