Event Details:

2019 NSW Rural Retreat for Gay Men with HIV, at an outdoor educational centre in the Tweed Valley, northern NSW.

A live-in residential extended weekend retreat for gay men living with HIV and their partners who are residents of regional/rural NSW or SE QLD.

We warmly invite all gay men living rurally with HIV (regardless of how long you have lived with HIV, your age or location in rural NSW or SE Qld) to join us!

A formal workshop programme is provided on health issues relevant to living with HIV. This year the Retreat workshops will focus on recognizing and growing your strengths and resilience living with HIV.

We also offer yoga classes, canoeing, bushwalking, ball games, and swimming. All meals and shared bunkhouse style accommodation (or camping if you prefer) are provided. The venue has a well-stocked reading library and board games. There’s lots of ‘free’ time for relaxation, reading, games and informal chatting.
