Join Us In The Exciting SEXPERT Project!

We're thrilled to invite you to volunteer for the brand-new SEXPERT Project! This is a collaboration between the SEXPERT initiative and the well-known TRADIES project.

The SEXPERT Project focuses on providing accurate information and support for gay, bisexual, queer and other men who have sex with men around sexual health and wellbeing at saunas and sex on premises venues. Historically TRADIES have distributed safe sex packs at major community parties and events like Mardi Gras.

This year, we're combining forces to deliver TRADIES and SEXPERTS under a unified SEXPERTS Project. Our partnership will empower volunteers to conduct outreach and peer education addressing a wide range of topics, including PrEP, testing, HIV, and STIs.

We're expanding our reach from saunas and cruising clubs to smaller events, parties, and community hubs.

To become a SEXPERT you need to attend training. We're offering a training session to cover everything you need to know about sexual health and how to connect with people at various venues and events to ensure safety. This is your chance to enhance your skills and be a part of something meaningful.

We are seeking to engage gay, bisexual, queer men who have sex with men (cisgender and trans) who are interested in volunteering as a SEXPERT.

Training will take place over two full days training sessions:

Time: 9 am to 4 pm
Date: 28 October (Saturday) & 29 October 2023 (Sunday)
Location: ACON Sydney, 414 Elizabeth St, Surry Hills NSW

Please note that this volunteer opportunity is only for Sydney based SOPVs, venues, events and parties.
