LOVE Stories is an exciting all-day event for LGBTI seniors to be held on Saturday 9 February at Petersham Town Hall. The day aims to provide a welcoming space for all 55+ LGBTI people to develop and share their love stories through short story writing, songs and art.

LOVE Stories is produced by ACON’s LOVE Project (Living Older Visibly Engage), which works to support older members of our communities live healthy, well and connected.

JOIN THE ACON VOLUNTEER TEAM

We’re looking for volunteers to assist on the day. As a volunteer, you’ll be helping with a range of duties such as setting up the space, manning workshops, providing directions and general ad hoc duties.

LOVE Stories is a new and unique event for the LGBTI community. It’s a great chance to hear some amazing stories and meet wonderful people.

We hope you can join us.

Volunteer shifts are half day, but volunteers are welcome to do a full day. Lunch will be provided.

Volunteers must be 18 and over.
