The public Health Act is under review and there are a range of proposals that impact on HIV in our community:

• to allow for the names of people with HIV to be collected by the NSW Minsitry of Health and kept on a centralised database.
• to change provisions relating to which health practitioners can have access to your HIV status.
• to change the HIV disclosure requirements for HIV.
