Date: Friday 20 September 2019

Killing Patient Zero explores the story of Gaetan Dugas, the Canadian man who was one of the earliest diagnosed HIV/AIDS patients in North America, and who later became demonised as ‘patient zero’.

Ahead of its Australian premiere at Queer Screen Film Fest, ACON is proud to host director Laurie Lynd to share with us his experiences and insights as a filmmaker on such an important story, as well as other queer works such as Schitt’s Creek and Queer As Folk.

Afternoon tea will be served.

Please RSVP online for catering purposes.

Killing Patient Zero will screen at Queer Screen Film Fest on Saturday 21 September at 4.30pm at Event Cinemas George St. Book at queerscreen.org.au
