We’re inviting LGBTQ+ community leaders and members from culturally, linguistically, and ethnically diverse backgrounds who are looking for tips and tricks for grant writing processes.
This workshop is ideal for first time and/or novice grant writers who are looking to build their capacity in grant writing and attain additional funding for events and projects to support multicultural LGBTQ+ communities!
We will be using practical exercises to explore topics related to grants with a culturally and psychologically safe lens applied.
The workshop will focus on the world of grant writing within a NSW context, and how to operate within it as a diverse individual.

- Understand where to access and search for grants
- Summarise the differences between navigating grant writing processes in both public and private sectors
- Understand the requirements to complete a grant process
- Differentiate between successful and unsuccessful responses
- Hear important stories of lived experiences
