QueerAbility - NDIS Workshops

ACON is holding several community workshops aimed at enabling LGBTQ+ people with disabilities to gain a better understanding of the NDIS. We are running ten workshops across New South Wales covering a range of different topics including:

  • Accessing the National Insurance Disability Scheme (NDIS)
  • Getting the most out of your plan
  • Service Agreements
  • NDIA Consent
  • Types of Funding
  • Types of Plans: Pros and Cons
  • Setting Goals
  • Plan Reviews
  • Making complaints and using the complaints process
  • How to use MyGov and MyPlace
  • What support services can help you
